So recently I have gotten back into competitive gaming via Game Battles. I have done competitive gaming in the past but always find myself coming back to being a casual gamer. Some reasons for that go into personal friendship problems (need to have a team) or just lack of interest in it all together. Well now I am getting back into it and am really enjoying it.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying one is better than the other. I actually really enjoy just playing a game to enjoy its story or gameplay or whatever! Xbox live arcade games did a winter promotion for three different titles.
ilomilo
A World for Keflings
Raskulls
I really enjoyed all three of those games and would love some DLC to be brought to them! I mean seriously look at how cute this is!

However when you are engaging in competitive gaming and are wanting to do good (WIN!!!), than you need to put all your focus into it. Like people have told you before: Practice, Practice, Practice! It can be a huge change from dominating public games to going against an organized team. For some it can be discouraging but just keep at it. I have now gotten to the point where if I lose during an official match I don't get all worked up over it. It is hard to do but once you can get past that it really helps you learn that you can improve and grow from that experience.

Over the next few weeks I plan on adding posts here to help you with competitive gaming. All of my advice will be based on the MLG variant for Call of Duty: Black Ops. I am hoping that it will help you guys out. Also if you do competitive gaming yourself I would love for you to comment and give your advice! Basically this will be my personal trails, a sort of how I'm doing status update, while also giving advice for those out there adventuring into the competitive realm!

So tell me how do you play your games?
